On Monday we had a Hawthorn member come to our school and his name was Michael.
He spoke to all of 5/6 about staying healthy and then he showed us a power point about healthy foods. He showed us a video also about healthy eating. Michael asked 5/6 questions like how many glasses of water should a average child drink a day. The answer was: 5 glasses.
We also went outside and we played a game called inside – outside. You have to use your brain alot.
Even though I don’t go for Hawthorn. I still enjoyed listening to what he had to say.
At the end of the day we were given a booklet and a package with a pack of stickers, a poster, a fixture and a free Junior membership.
In the booklet we had to fill out a page that had Mon, Tue, Wed (etc). It also said what did I eat today, How much water did I drink and how much sleep did I get.
If I had to give it a score I’d give it a 9/10 because I don’t go for Hawthorn.
This week we had a very special celebration. On Monday it was Italian day we were told we could dress up. So nearly everyone dressed up and I was wearing a bed sheet and a belt.
